All students are invited to experience the Museum of Miami completely for free on select dates when school is out during the 2026-2027 school year.\n\n\n\n\nAvailable 2026-2027 Dates \n\n\n\n\nTeacher Planning Days: Friday\, December 18\, 2026\, and/or Wednesday\, March 10\, 2027.\n\n\n\nWinter Recess: Wednesday\, December 23\, 2026.\n\n\n\nSpring Break: Wednesday\, March 24\, Thursday\, March 25\, and/or Friday\, March 26\, 2027.\n\n\n\nHours of Operation: 12:00 PM – 5:00 PM.\n\n\n\nRequirements: Advance registration is required\, and any student under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n    Register Here \n    \n\n\n\nShape the Future by Exploring the Past: Earn Secondary Community Service Credit \n\n\n\nAre you in middle or high school?  Explore your sense of belonging here! Earn community service credit while building critical historical thinking skills and enjoying our exhibits completely for free. \n\n\n\nHow to Earn Your Certificate \n\n\n\n\nExplore (2 Hours): Enjoy our dynamic exhibits on self-guided tours.\n\n\n\nAnalyze (1 Hour): After your tour time has expired\, complete the Museum of Miami’s Think Like a Historian Student Feedback and Reflection Survey.\n\n\n\nAchieve: Turn in your completed survey to receive your official Museum of Miami Community Service Certificate validating your 3 completed hours.\n\n\n\n\nAvailable Program Times \n\n\n\n\nWeekends: Saturdays or Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:30 PM.\n\n\n\n“No Class” Days: Available on the 2026-2027 dates listed above (December 18\, December 23\, March 10\, and March 24-26).\n\n\n\n\nProgram Requirements \n\n\n\nStudents under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a legal guardian at all times. \n\n\n\nThere is a strict limit of 3 community service credit hours per student. \n\n\n\nAdvance registration is required to participate. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n    Register Here \n    \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nAccessibilityTo request materials in accessible format\, sign language interpreters\, and/or any disability accommodation\, please contact accessibility@museumofmiami.org or call (305) 375-1601 at least two weeks in advance of your visit to initiate your request.
