Are you looking to make an impact that is meaningful to you? Museum of Miami offers many alternatives that help you create your legacy through a transformational gift to the museum.

Some simple giving options are, including a gift to Museum of Miami in a will or trust, making the museum the beneficiary on an insurance policy, bank, retirement or investment account, or on an IRA. A gift of appreciated stock is another tax-wise option to consider as you make your plans.

Anyone can make these gifts and still continue to enjoy your current lifestyle while making provision for what is truly meaningful to you.

The Legacy Society

The Legacy Society brings together individuals who are passionate about preserving history, creating a lasting impact for generations to come. Membership is open to everyone who includes Museum of Miami in their estate plans through a planned gift at or above the minimum gift. Each member of the society will be honored with an Induction Ceremony.

Two simple legacy gift options to make an impact and support causes you love.

Gifts in Your Will

Bequests are one of the most flexible and popular options for creating a legacy without changing the way you live your life today. With the help of a financial advisor or attorney, you can include language in your will or trust indicating that you wish a gift to be made to your family, friends, or Museum of Miami.

Gifts by Beneficiary Designation

Many assets transfer by the beneficiary designation form you completed when you established your account, rather than through your will or trust. You can change a beneficiary designation at any time and does not require an attorney. To name Museum of Miami as a beneficiary, please use our full legal name above.

Museum of Miami recommends that you consult a trusted tax professional, estate planning advisor or legal counsel as you make your legacy giving plans.
