The Folklife Gallery is a space for celebrating our local cultural diversity and reflecting on what makes Miami, Miami. The gallery immerses visitors in the vibrant cultural practices that give our region its unique character and features artifacts from the museum’s South Florida Folklife Collection such as costumes, musical instruments, handmade crafts, and much more. Learn about the communities that call Miami home and the traditions that connect us to our past, bring us home, and express who we are.
The Folklife Gallery is made possible by generous contributions from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, the National Endowment for the Arts, and by Paul and Joan Gluck.
